Three comments.
1. Very clear.
2. I would suggest using a stylized fish. You want to create the logo as a VECTOR format, not as a PIXEL format so you can scale it up/down without loss of fidelity. If you did NOT use Adobe Illustrator or an equivalent to create this logo, then start over.
3. Should be an apostrophe at the end of Fishin'

It is somewhat complicated for a logo - which rather defeats the point of a logo.
- Three lines and three different fonts.
- The fish will be hard to reproduce (eg. b/w).
- "Charters" is hard to read on that background.
See stciky above:

4) The Banner Logo
A logo is not a web banner advertisement. You are doing yourself more harm than good by forcing your logo into a banner shape, especially if the content is crammed to fit the entire rectangle. Our eyes are trained to avoid these shapes, not read them.

8) The Complex Logo
Detailed illustrations, photos, and complex layouts make poor logos. Each additional detail is an extra detail that your (potential) customer has to remember. A simple, unique logo with solid shades and minimal lines will have greater impact and memorability.

Oh how I love fishing! I just don't do enough of it working too much. You have the life! As for the logo--- get rid of the 3 lines--- to difficult to see. Make the word Fishin proper Fishing so u don't sound like a fool. Afterall, you want all types of people to go Fishin with you. Make the words have a heavier font style. Otherwise I really like the logo. Keep it. Use it and good luck with your site!

Imo a logo should be able to be drawn in the sand( Hillman Curtis ). Simple is best in most circumstances.
Try and break your logo down into lines and experiment and then experiment again.
www.logopond.com is a great resource for logo inspiration.

Cartoon fish?
My first reaction was that I like the logo, but reading the responses made me look at it differently. They are right about sizing and simplification.
One idea that struck me is to put more emphasis on Charter. I'm assuming that that is what you are selling. The fish and hook need to quickly communicate fishing. Try a simple outline of the fish and an exaggerated hook for the H in hooker.
That's my 2 cents worth!

Try using a different color for the words. They seem to blend in with the water.

Looks nice... don't really have much to add to the suggestions and comments already made... but I thought I would post a mock-up / idea here... I look forward to seeing the Vector based logo when you get it done!

Another nice idea by parallel. Clean and concise.
Happy Hooker, do you charter onto Lake Superior? I spend a great deal of time at Lake Superior in the U.P. of MI but I've never been on the lake, however. Are you gentle with "first-timers"?
