Hi,

as a newbie here, firstly hi, I'm a search-a-holic * grin * and have a pet project:

For a while now I've been conserned that my logo might be somewhat "lame" or rather too "generic" - and would very much like to hear thoughts and feedback, and would gladly pay for a new design if someone has a case for that too.

Your logo is simple and that is a good point but I think that it lacks originality as the logo may look like a button in some websites.

thanks for the feedback, what do you think would improve it?

Consider removing the swooshes and replacing with a unique visual. This swoosh is so overused (especially on the web) that is has relatively no value anymore.
