Default Looking for feedback on my logos

These are two logos that I've designed, one for myself (Todd Giannattasio) and one for my company that I am trying to launch. What do you think?

I particularly like the personal logo, but your last name would be better outside, beside the "G" positioned vertically 90 degrees clockwise - see below where the | appears with the bottom of your last name facing towards the G.

G|

The second logo is ok... the inside text is too small and I'm not sure what the aesthetic value is to placing the different words in the manner you do?

I really like the big G idea.
Seems like the G needs something done to it to make it more unique. Then you could feature it and put your name below it, on two lines. Show more of your style since your personal logo should be among your best work.

On the second, I agree, the text inside is too small and I think the font could be something more current. I also don't think the "Fir" is needed since it seems redundant and "1st" reads fine without it. Hope I've helped - Good Luck.

just a thought

what about using a lightning strike arrow going from the left bottom to the right top and then having the text you want.

A climbing arrow thingy shows.tells that you are growing, and keep growing, and if it's a lightning strike type arrow it's also shows power and is agressive. Again it all depends for what the logo is needed. (showing to have power attracts lots of people)

For the nr1 logo, I'm the best the top the nr1 says the logo I like it, but dunno, how does it look centerd so that the left part of the 1 doesn't reach the border.

I like the 1st idea, but it doesn't quite come off. A larger ST is probably called for, but you don't want too much emphasis on the text inside the one or it takes away from the whole. Maybe the text inside could be a grey instead of black.

I like that you design in B&W without colors, shadings, bevels, and shadows.

I don't love the G. Your last name is too small. I think the idea could work with the right fonts.

Why not have on your company logo

Fir on white st on black
sto on white p on black
desi on white gn on black
sho on white p on black

You name logo is hard to read you last name. Looks blurried.
