It doesn't do much, sorry. It is hard to read and the graduated tone goes crumbly on the 'O'.

Can we see a standard version on a white background? The On Beat positioning and text size is off IMHO. Also, not sure why you used separate colors for productions? The word "PRO" as in professional does stand out but it leaves me for a millisecond wondering what a "duction" is? :)

Looks too complicated. The shading on the big O and the transparent effect on the blue bar are not practical. Can you use a font for "on beat" that does not have open spaces in it? They will surely close up when reduced.
On Beat is also not legible over the O - the vertical lines in the N are lost.
I do like the symmetry of the logo.

Making a logo in black and white first can be a good idea. Then add color. It can work out a lot of problems.

I always look to find a background, a story in a logo.

A logo should tell at first glance the quality of the company. Sorry to say but yours doesn't tell me anything. I visited this post yesterday, and today again and I couldn't remember the logo.

A good logo should be imprinted in the mind of the potential customer/visitor IMHO. Yours didn't do that for me.

The switch of color use in PROductions isn't that bad but you should pick diff colors for it and a diff way of implementation. It's the only part of the logo that could atract me PROfessional PROductions is what comes up in my mind.

Overall you prob have put alot of work in it but it doesn't fit, maybe just having the background white could already make a big difference.

I'm not a prof designer I say what I think.

Design in just one or two colors without any shading. If you try to make this into a one color logo (even ignoring the grey background), the words ON BEAT would get lost on the O. Productions would fare better.

I think a "funky" font or something a bit more stylish or modern. (Italicized, scripty) for the O. Then put ON BEAT PROductions on the shape.
