and I have had some bad reviews from other WPW members about my logo.
Here we go.
Let's have a contest. Make a logo, YOU FEEL IS FITTING for the site, submit it here in the forum for your protection, and if everyone chooses your logo, we'll send you $100.00 to your paypal account, or give you 5 blankets shipped. Your choice.

I am liking what I am seeing - can you produce a few original designs so we can feel them?

Let's end the contest on February 23rd, 2003. We will judge all submissions and send $100 to the winner (in blankets or paypal cash) on that day.

Logos communicate. No great news here. As such, what is the "winning" logo suppose to communicate? If you can describe the "winning" logo after it is designed, you can describe it before it is designed. You mus thave a basis for the "winning" design criteria. Otherwise, how can you properly judge it?

Because you won't find professional logo designer here. Are some, but can you trust on one company.
I will recommand you to type in the google search form : logo design
You will find pro logo designer for $24.00, $30.00...up to $100.00 You can compare their portfolio and choose the best you think he is.
I personaly paid less than $25.00 for my logo (find that way on google) and visitors and I m fully satisfied.

I know that you didn't mean to be rude, but it's hard for anybody to see that his work is criticized without giving a good reason. And here in Egypt we have a saying that tell: If tastes don't differ from a person to another then no products will be sold, which means if you don't like something it doesn't mean that others don't too.
For myself I'm a logo designer who's living from his designs and I'm the winner of 3 competetions so far, so I'm a professional designer not only for the quality of work I do but for dedicating all my work time for this job.
As for your logo, I admit that I like it but I told you before that you have a problem with the mascot. And having a logo design for less than $25 doesn't mean that you have a good opportunity for a logo design because if you checked out well know logo designing firms - you'll find that they take much more money than $25 or $100 for a logo design.
And I wonder how is the scale or the reliabilty of a logo designing firm that asks for only $25 for a customized logo design.

I m not saying you are other peopleon this forum don't design well. But I only want to recomand to take a look on the web for portfolio of professional designer. You know, high price doesn't mean good logo's, it depends on the designer it self and the person who order a logo. He is the only one to decide.

In the end, I created a logo for blanketmall.com before I sold the company. The new owner has changed the logo, they are going with a different approach.
