Default Can You Please Review my Logo?

Hi!

I have received good feedback from WPW in the past on logos and thought I'd see if you could take a peek at the one I created today..

Upper Left: www.campaignblasts.com

Does the money work? I used a program to change it to appear like an oil painting..

And does the text blend in to much? Should there be more contrast?

Do the colors work?

Thanks for your input in advance!

How you been, Matt?

Looks good, my honest eval is raise the resolution up a notch on the money image. I know some people might disagree. I'm of the school of thought that some images are worth waiting an extra second. I have my own opinions though, about the research about how long a visitor waits for a page to load... I think it depends on the site, the market, and how much slower or faster we're talking.

The money graphic is part of the logo? To me, it should merely be considered the background of your header and not directly associated as part of your logo, which I gather is the text, Matt Levenhagen's Campaign Blasts. Or is it just Campaign Blasts.

And though you stylized the text with a color, a border and a drop shadow, it isn't memorable, nor will it translate well to other forms of media. Quasi-interesting font though.

Can be improved a bit in colours and edges.

The g in campaign does not look right. It looks more like a q to me.

Other than that it looks ok.

I like the font you selected and the blue color with the white stroke... however like wbmcl, I was a bit confused as to which part of the masthead graphic makes up the logo? Is the money part of the logo? how about your name? (if your name is part of the brand and the logo, I think it should be spaced much closer to the words: "campaign blasts". Also, I would change the layout of the name and money (if its part of the logo) vis-a-vis "campaign blasts" ... I'm not sure what the logic is behind the indented text for each line.
