I disagree. I think it's a great logo, and actually should be bigger to fill the square. It sets the tone and makes the site enticing.

Just my opinion.

Hi Gert

I agree the logo is simple, original and sums up what the site is about.

Do you feel this because the rest of the site has a bit of a conservative/samey layout? Like jawn_tech I would make that logo bigger for a start.

IMHO If anything needs to be changed, it should be the rest of the site to reflect the logo's uniqueness.

I agree with the first reply. The logo itself is fine, it just needs to be bigger and bolder taking up a greater area within that square.

the logo is good.
the child face may make the visitors think it is for children.
better to present some manly figure.

I like that the logo shows an attitude. Reminds me more of a gaming site than a martial arts site. Martial arts tend to emphasize traditional and this seems to say Japanese game to me.

I don't think the logo goes with the site. Looking at the logo for the first time I thought of cartoons. However, you might make that logo have some arms, legs and maybe a black belt doing something like a kick in the air.

Just looking at that logo I do not think one would get the impression that your a serious martial arts site.

I love the logo... I think the problem is the sizing and position of the logo versus the site graphics. I would perhaps place it on a graphic texturized 3d steel (or other) placeholder and also use it throughout the site. The layout seems a bit corporate compared to the image the brand seems to convey.

Its a good looking logo but does not match your business. Too cartoon-ish. I would expect something more serious, perhaps something using asian characters...?

greghart is correct. First look the logo is like something on the cartoon network. It well done, but when compared with the rest of the site, it doesn't match. The rest of the site is rather calm and professional. I would done something maybe 2D. No gradient in the color to give it a 3D feel. Maybe solid blue and orange colors with a sword or fighter silhouette. I would have to play around with it to give you a better suggestion. Good Luck!
