My simple Logo I could use some advice

I'm not to hot with logo's I don't have the skill or the tools really but here goes:
This is a transparent gif and it becomes bity looking when smaller

so I put it on a white backgroud

or a black background

I like the my "V" that looks like a tick but I'm not happy with the quality.

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

your logo designs look good.
since your logo utilizes light colors, it will look better on a dark background.
so the last design on black background may be better.

I would not change the background to black. For me it is hard to read if on that. Also any other colors you have in mind? Might change the colors of the letters. At first glance it looks hazey.

It does look a tad hazy, but I like the overall design of it. Just darken your colors and I think it will look great!

Looks good to me, although I think the blue for "powered by people" is a little too dark, but its not a major point.
