Hey Adam,
Sometimes simple works best. That fits the design very well. Quite a Niche there! Cannot say I've ever stumbled on a Job site for that career. ;-) Robert

I like your logo, how did you make it?

I used a very basic art drawing tool, not really up to speed with the likes of corel draw. As you can from the simple design it didn't require much work. I did a little research though and had a look around at other sites logos.
I think all the big names have a basic logo, for instance "Shell" is very simple, just a simple shell design, yet it is the most well known logo in the world. I am a great believer in simple is best! Make your site with a max of three colours, and no more, (just my two pence worth) |

Change the oil coming out to maybe black?

I kinda agree with making the oil black. The colors overall don't seem to have much significance.
The spouting oil seems to be a different color than the word Oil and the .net. Is there a reason for that? Black and gold might be pretty sharp - and richer looking. It would eliminate any palm tree comments too.
