My logo remodified

Hi all

There was too much hoo har surrounding my last logo. So what do you all think of this one.

I thought I would make the East Anglia area a bit paler as the green was previously too bright. It prints OK in black and white and also in colour.

Any comments will be gratefully received (Obviously the finished result won't be that big).

I'm sorry to say, I don't think this works either.

To me it looks like an old man with a round nose and beard bending forward to squint at something in his hand.

Maps can be very difficult to recognise especially when they are straight on two side - why not say in text 'serving East Anglia' and drop the map?

Thats good jabber, but I'm not sure about the slogan.

I might just stick to Essex at this stage (For web Design Across Essex). And tackle East Anglia in the far away future.

The reason I never put just Essex behind my image? It would look even more confusing.

I would like to stick to the blue, but do you think its too garish? Would Navy be more conservative?

I want to give the impression, elegant but contemporary.

With respect Paul, Anyone in the local area that I am catering to would recognise that as the East of England (except Jade Goody). Like I probably wouldn't recognise a map of Switzerland (but if it was a local service and I would know very quickly that it wasn't me).
