Default help with creating a logo

Hi everyone; I'm a physician (cardiologist) about to launch my WWW site. I'm looking for an appropriate logo that would work not only for general WWW purposes but also (perhaps in a slightly different version) on stationery.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Yours,
Daniel P. Morin, MD MPH

(I list my degrees here in case you're interested in actually taking a crack at whipping something up... which, again, would be greatly appreciated.)

Default ... more detail

The target for the logo will be individual patients as well as primary care physicians (who will refer patients to me for further specialty care).
I would like to convey sophistication, sincerity, and reliability.

Thanks so much!
Daniel

Default More info please

for us to be able to even think, you first need to tell us what the name of the business name is, products sold etc. we have nothing to evaluate anything with now.

Default questions answered

The name of the business is simply my name and degrees (just how I wrote it above -- "Daniel P. Morin, MD MPH"). There's no material "product," per se, but the services provided include diagnosis of heart problems and treating them.
I have a particular emphasis on electrophysiology (EKGs, arrythmia, defibrillators, pacemakers). I also deal with patients who have had a heart attack(s) or are at risk for one.
Does this help?
Thanks again.
Daniel

I'm sorry. I would like to help, if possible, but I'm unable to view your page.

Please note that there are two versions on the page (one on the top, one on the bottom).

Doc,
I like your logo. You use a clean line to tie your name into the obvious icon - but connect the two via the EKG(?) heartbeat.

Nicely done. Let me know if you're interested in doing any DM or advertising.
