Well, hmmm....
it's just way too busy. And the stylized E next to the mphyny and nterprises just doesn't read well. It's important to know what the business does, which I don't so it's hard to advise. But, what if you used just the globe with the gold e over it (excluding the cyan backwards e) and maybe moved it above the words Emphany Enterprises. The globe may still need simplifying then but it'd be a start. What if youcurved that e even more to almost form the globe--just "suggesting" the world, you know.
I have to say the detailed globe thing is getting pretty old for the WWW.

First, I suppose I should explain the "e's". Around the globe the two e's form a person stretching around the globe. Emphany is a VOIP contractor through iconnecthere.com. They literally connect people around the world. The orange e (Emphany) connecting the blue e (you) to whomever you are trying to contact across the globe.

I brought the “fancy” e to the text “Emphany Enterprises, inc.” to tie the two together. I felt using a plain E didn’t bring the logo together as well (I tried it). So, anyway there is the reason behind the madness.

As far as the globe goes I agree it could be simplified. I’ll see what I can do about that. Besides that, originally this logo was for web only media. The client now wants it for print so the detailed globe is going to have to go.

I think it would work best without the globe at all--just the Es in the circular "hug". The circle alone will always give you the global feeling.

I still think that with the E being so abstract next to the words it just reads "mphyny nterprises". a logo needs to be quickly discernible to be effective.

I think if you match the E in the logotype to the rest of the words it would be obvious that your abstract global "E"s stood for Emphyny Enterprises. You could also try the Emphyny in cyan and the Enterprises in the gold to emphasise this connection.

Hello,
Your logo is really nice and it have a prffesional look, also I like the color scheme. But don't you think that if you changed the color of the name of the firm from gray to light blue will be better. This because I think that the shape is more eye catching than the name.
