Hello all-
You have a newbie here.
My wife started her company - Tranquil Treasureslast year- marketing to mainly home parties. I decided to open the online aspect in December of this past year. WOW what a learning experience so far (I think the most important thing I found out is that I have alot more to learn).
Anyway any feedback and knowledge is welcome.

It's very hard to discern what the name is on first glance - Ranquil Reasures? The font has a "pirate" feel to it and not a tranquil one... maybe that's what you're going for?

Hi hometronics,

Had a quick look at your logo - you seem to have a couple of good elements going on, but maybe the animation makes things seem a little 'busy'.

(If I had the time!) - I might try to separate the animation and use separate elements - the map, the steps along it, or the TT in Tranquil Treasures.

I'm not sure what combination, but I think maybe the 'Tranquil Treasures' text, overlaid on the map faded in the background might look nice. I think a little playing around might give you a more finished look.

Aside from the logo...digressing....the search box to the right of the drop down product menu doesn't display correctly on the laptop I'm using - it's to the right of, but above, the drop down menu. Just for your info - maybe my screens a little narrow.

Hi hometronics

The logo is quite simple and with the map, it has a very piratey/treasure feel to it. And the rings on the right-hand side justify your line of business (jewellers, not pirates).

The Flash movie seems a little too long-winded and I don't think most visitors have that much patience just to see a logo.

I do agree with darren, combine the logo and map (or a ring) and I think you'll be on to a winner.
