You have 2 objects fighting for attention, the feather and the red "r". I don't really know what you do and what the significance of the "r" would be, but I think I'd choose the feather. I don't like the big dot from the "i" on the feather though. Perhaps you could
1) move the feather up,
2) make the feather a bit smaller and substitute it for the dot, or
3) make the whole word small caps.

Hi pachecus,
My first impression is: it's really good, I really like it, it looks professional. My second thought was 'why the feather' immediately followed by 'ah - the "ticler" in "Articler"'. My third thought was 'why is the "r" in red?' - followed by 'articler - someone who writes articles'. The fourth thought came a few moments later (I'm suffering from jet-lag!) and that was - 'ah - the feather - also a quill - a tool used by a writer!'

So the thinking behind it seems to make really good sense to my small, tired little brain! Maybe the feather could be tickling the red 'r' which might tie it in? Or the tip of the quill a bit closer to the 'r' ? Bit difficult to say without seeing it - you may already have tried various positions for the feather and decided on this one - but that's the only thing I can think of immediately which might help!
Thanks,
Darren.

I like it.

I do think that the text would stand out just as well without the feather behind it. Or drop the feather altogether as it is a bit fussy.
