Default Simplicity

Hey everyone,

I think this logo needs some improvement.

How do I get rid of the jagged edges on everything? I am using fireworks.

Thanks
- Jeremy

GIMP is a free software similar to adobe photoshop - you can do that easily and get rid of the edges:)

If you are using fireworks, I was thinking you might have Macromedia's Flash also. I did the logo in flash and then exported it to a .gif file. You are welcome to it if you want, I have the .fla if you want also...

there is still a slight fuzziness around the edges.

Hope this helps you out some.

JuniorOnline - I'ld like to take the credit, but I based it off of something given to me. Is GIMP easy to use (for future reference)?

No, the GIMP is not easy to use. The learning curve is quite steep. However, it is a very powerfull tool and I strongly recommand you to install it. And this is Free (as in speech) software.

NOTHING compares to Photoshop in my opinion:) but for a free tool, GIMP does the quick jobs.. and yeah it did take me some time to learn it.

the logo is nice..but why not experiment with using white font? or maybe different yellow? or different shade of red?
