Default 3 different styles for my web / cd / presentation design co.

Hi everyone,

Hope you can help me choose ..... I've got my own web design co - CD-Rom design and presentations. I'm quite girly and not afraid to admit it! I've had my logo since 1999 - and getting a bit tired of it. Go here to take a look at how my logo looks currently.... www.gelcreative.co.uk

Anyway, time for a change - perhaps a total colour change as well - I thought of going blue/lime, but not sure ..... I still quite like my original purple/orange on my existing website.

Ummmm...... decisions decisions, go on.. sock it to me..... what one do you like best - and any ideas for changes??? - Ta - Jane

PS: Gel doesn't stand for anything - it just gelled....

Ooops sorry....you got me twice - I hit the refresh button...... :(

With some development, I definitely like No 2. :)

Personally I like 3, and professioanly 3 needs some adjustments.

Thanks Eagle and Votekick - what sort of development/adjustments were you thinking of?

I really like number 2, but think number 3 could be really cool with some colour changes and a bit of tweaking, they are all actually pretty cool

Default No 2 Logo.

Hi gelcreative -

I've had a look, and I like No 2 best overall - it's got something going on.

I like the colour fading on the 'spiky-splodge', and the dot of the 'i' in 'creative' being in the bottom of the 'l' in 'gel'. Maybe you could make this dot the same colour green as the dot inside the 'g'? It might tie it in together a bit? I'm not sure if it would be 'too much' then, but I hope the suggestion is helpful.

With regards to 3, 4 and 5 - I like them, probably 4 is my sub-favourite - my only problem with these is that my eye doesn't recognise the 'g' as a 'g'. I know it's a 'g' because you're called gel creative, but it doesn't filter through to my brain instinctively. My eye would probably pick up a 'g' more easily if it was, say, made from an enlarged mirror image of the 'e' in gel - that would probably be a more easily recognised 'g' shape.

Hope that helps you,
Regards,
Darren.

My eyes are drawn naturally to number 2. The transition of the blue and green is simple, but effective.

I was immediately drawn to number two. But I also agree with Votekick and Pete - number three could be really good with some tweaking.
