Default Rebate Gurus

The 2 other guys I work with, and myself, spent a while trying to find a logo that would be cool enough, but not too loud. We are SO not designers, but we rested on the current logo for our site.

Rebate Gurus follows the same idea as other comparison shopping sites like ebates. You shop, and get paid money back. The difference is who pays back the most. But we wanted our logo to exemplify some guys that moderate the site, not a site that seems run by machines or a faceless entity. Besides, putting our own pictures in the logo, which we didn't, just didn't seem professional. So, we went with a silouetted look.

Any comments are welcome.

Hello netfrugal,

I like the overall look of your logo, but I don't think it goes very will with the light purple color on your site.

I would suggest trying to incorporate this color into your logo or consider changing it out on your site. My sugesstion would be a shade of blue to make the logo stand out more. You already have incorporated the green color into your design.

How about changing the color blue in the word gurus to purple so that it might blend in with your purple and green format.

Thanks for the advice on the logo color scheme to website color scheme. I think I agree with you guys about matching the logo to the rest of the site, or vice versa. Funny thing about it was we ran the current colors past some art students - and they prefered the purple with the way the logo is now! I probably should have trusted my gut instincts on this one.
