Well considering the one sided polling, I guess it works. You have what your selling on the site, which is the objective. But maybe it is too much a beginners level site.
But if you are just using the site as a way for your normal customers to see your products when not open during business hours, it works fine.'
If this is a site to bring in new customers from the net, then I would suggest something on the level of commerce/online level.
