This logo is for a men's Western (style) apparel company. It would be used with the text name underneath when it appears alone, without the text when there are other printed names that identify the company, e.g. letterhead, packaging, etc.
It violates some of the opinions on using lettering, though its combination is probably unique, and its font was modified enough to make it unique.
It hopefully evokes some image as a "branding iron", and may be used that way on some occasions, being burnt into the side of a display crate for example.
I couldn't think of any other imagery to combine or add with this; the bucking bronco with cowboy image a la Wyoming license plates is way overused. Since some of the products sold will be underwear, I want to avoid any images of cactus, barbed wire or other painful things :)
The company's tag line is "...ride well", but I think we want to keep that separate from the logo??
The market will generally be the 16-35 year old male. The Western market is in general more traditional and more conservative than the mainstream.
All opinions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
David
Sorry I don't know how to make the logo image appear as part of this; any moderators please feel free to correct this.
