Default Panther - "H&H Sports Logo"

Here is another logo I'm designing for a customer. Havn't decided what direction to go in. Here is one design I came up with. Tell me what you think.

It certainly gets the motorsport theme across, maybe a bit too much. The imagery used is very cliche. The car, the sports font the checked flag etc...

The fact that they are photographers is not very prominent. Why not use a camera and perhaps wheel or steering wheel in the design.

I think your logo gets the point across but is a bit too in your face.

Hello Panther,

When I first looked at the logo you've designed -- a "race track" or a "speedway" is the first thing that came to my mind, not photography.

greghart might be on to something saying that you might want to include a camera somewhere in your design, to make the photography more prominant.

Very well designed logo though, I'm always very impressed with the quality work you put into each logo.

My Two Cents....

I think if the client uses a camera, you might be better off using a photograph as opposed to an "artists" rendition of a car and track.

I love the checker flag look. (But I hate NASCAR so go figure.)

What is their purpose? Do the only do motor photography? All sports? The word "sports" in what I am drawn to in the graphic. Someone else said it looks like they are selling a racetrack... Do I bring my own helmet? See what I mean.

Sorry but again, two cents.... what a bargain! :)

I cannot wait to see your next attempt.

I agree with the above observations. What if the car/flag/track were being reflected in a camera lens, so that the lens frames the image instead of the generic oval shape?

I understand and agree with all the above observations. I felt the same way. I also had the "too cluttered" feel when I looked at it. I'll let you know when I revise!
