Default Murder To Die For logo - please review

Please review our logo

Murder To Die For is an entertainment company presenting murder mystery events and weekends.

Any suggestions would be useful as I'm not too happy with this logo.

I would go for a simple graphic to act as your logo that represents your business, rather than just the name in a bloody font. Maybe a gravestone, or a heart with a knife in it and M2D4 written on it like a tatoo. Or perhaps go for the cluedo thing, with a candle stick.

Your logo reminds me of the very generic "Chiller" font. I would also suggest that more color be used.. just the one solid red kind of takes away from the blood look. You might consider just having the word murder or die be red with the dropplets of blood.

I agree with jkomp, you need something else. Possibly a noose or something of that nature.

Looks plan. Might try what jkomp and jmuncy said to do. Change the color on the rest of the words and live the word die in red. Would this logo look good on a business card? If not than you need to change things in it. Maybe add a graphic.

Thanks everyone for the advice, I'm working on a new logo taking all the advice into account.

Sorry I haven't replied earlier but I've been ill.

Thanks again.

Not at all.. I wasn't saying I didn't like chiller... That's just what that font reminded me of.

I've used the "Chiller" font before.

Anway let me know the size and I'll format the logo for your site then send you the illustrator file so you can edit it later. Thanks and Good Luck!

Default web(non)sense

I tried looking at your site from my office PC (government) and the site was blocked by WebSense due to 's-e-x' content.

I don't see anything offensive on your site so maybe our security lumps murder and die, etc into the 's-e-x' catagory.

I'm thinking some creative wording to sidestep censors might be in order.

That could be correct but...I'm in the Airforce and using government computers can be a major pain in the butt. For instance our proxy blocks WebProWorld for spamming and offensive content. It could just be the settings of your proxy.
