ok
Girls can make logos too! I actually think girls can be more creative then guys. Emily Dickenson is a perfect example! You are just not as familiar with the software as you could be. I like the concept. It just needs to be cleaned up a bit. If you want you can have the design below. I just ask that you put a link of my site on yours! If the offers sounds good then email me at dustin@blackacastledesign.com

Amie, your text needs more weight; the font you're using for the text and numbers is too light and thin.
I like panther's version a great deal, it will reproduce well online and in print.

The browser hijack isn't pleasant or necessary...

What excatly do you mean by this?
There is no "hijacking" going on...
You may not deem it pleasant or necessary, but the topic of this section of the forum is putting your logo up for review....... which I did.

Hi
I just wondered why it's necessary to maximise the visitors browser when they visit? :)

I'm guessing that the maximized window is the only way the layout works. But I'm just guessing since I can't view the source or resize the window.
But I agree, it is annoying when that happens...

i like panther's logo, very generous offer indeed.
I dont get this whole 'girl' thing, why do you keep related these things back to your sex?
Marcie is in my opinion one of the most knowledgable people in this forum. She is a woman. And yet she doesn't feel the need to highlight this in everyone of her posts or her signature. Being a woman or indeed a girl, has nothing to do with ones logo creating talents.

Thanks, jkomp.
I, too, don't understand why "A girl's attempt" has to be in the title of the post. The comment borders on being degrading to women's abilities in design.
There's no need to know whether something was created by a man or a woman, let's just review the design itself for what it's worth.

Ahhh the heading has been changed. Guess someone was listing. Way to go to whoever changed it. This thread might now get more replies to it.
