Why the hand with the credit card? I would think that just using the phrase you have would be good enough.

I liked the look of your logo David. It has a very corporate look to it. I also like the hand. I must add that I have absolutely no design experience and I was just looking at it from a surfer's point of view.

I feel that it's a little plain, and the font seems generic.

I would play around with some differnt fonts, see what you can come up with.

Your name is unique and strong. My intuition that the graphic element should be secondary - if it exists at all. Perhaps just a minor accent integrated into the typeface. I agree, the typeface needs some punch. Tighten your leading and consider a modern sans serif. Something Barmeno-esque would be appropriate. It would keep the clean look but give just a slight edge.
