Default Taxi Finder Logo feedback...

Hi Guys

We are devloping a logo for a mobile phone app which finds the nearest taxi companys to your location. The parent company ECONZ wireless has a existing stable of brands. The new logo for Taxi Finder needs to fit with the other brands but also stand alone.

Please view logos here:
http://www.econz.com/taxifinder_poll.htm

Please feel free to vote and any feedback much appreciated.

PS please feel free to comment on existing logos also.

I like D. The spy glass thingy just does not do it. Why not a pic of a real taxi?

I agree, also prefer D. The app uses GPS positioning to find your location so the crosshairs work for me.
Will try a version with a taxi. Thanks for your feedback.

Also D. D has an attractive design and all components get together just fine.

A is to simples and just letters, B & C as said the magnifying glass doesn't do the trick :)

Cheers

I'd look harder at option "A" as it will translate better into the print world, is very recognizable and very memorable.

"D" is cool, but wouldn't be as readable in the print environment (the grey gets lost at distances beyond normal reading).

All in my opinion, which, when combined carefully with a $1 bill, gets you a cup of coffee at the corner store.

I agree with nottheusual1, (D) is a great looking logo, but I think that you will run into some snags while trying to make the logo work with other media. Maybe have an alternate version of (D) where the dark colors are utilized...

Point taken, however this brand will live on phone screens and on the web. Wont be a large print component. The colours shown are to exact either.
The light grey will be darker.
The colours will be the following:

#8 - I like the crosshairs better than the magnifying glass. Looks a little more trendy, kind of GPS-looking.

I like 8/D the cross hair logo image will make a good, recognisable icon for access through your mobile or other handheld device.

Famous last words! ;) Plan ahead!

The colours shown in these mock-ups are not exact. We have done some print tests using the pms colours shown and it looks fine.

BTW checked out some of your logo work, very nice!
