Default FloridaFishingInformation.com Logo

Logo:

Planning on using at a few places on the web site but also a larger version for merchandising in the Florida Fishing Gear Shop. I know, I'm probably the only one who'll buy anything but I think that long sleeve Tee is the bomb!

Does not look like a fish to me. Just a bunch of lines in the sand.

You still could use that, just have to fix it up some is all. As is it, it is hard to know what it is. The tail is a fish tail but the rest just looks like lines.

Default higher contrast

I could tell it was a fish, but agree it could use improvement. How about drawing one of those bony fish skeletons in the sand?

Also, I think it would help to increase the contrast in the picture. The picture is pretty dark, so people with poor vision may have a hard time with it.

But overall I really like the idea!

Or to save having to draw one you could go buy a fish from a market and just lay it on the sand. You could even trace round it lol. Nice idea.

Have drawn this for you:

Hope this helps =)

Nice pic MuNKy.

texxs maybe you could edit that pic of yours by just connecting to parts to make it look more like a fish.

Default fih logo

I was at the beach again yesterday (damn, research for a fishing site is jusyt hard work! -- not!), and gave a few tries at the logo in the sand idea, which I'm beginning to like, but they really sucked! Then my fiance' tried drawing stuff and made me remebe:
I suck at drawing and she kicks butt! duh!

So geee, it's a lot of work, but we'll have to go to the beach and draw in the sand! And might as well fish while I'm there. And might as well take some pics for my other site; Florida Photo Gallery.

It's tuff work but . . .

Nice drawing MuNKy!

I'm confused. Is that the concept on a sand or the actual logo you plan to use? I'd say it needs to be a little less grainy.

It's not a good idea really to use a photographic image for a logo. If you'll be totally internet based then fine but consider that you may one day need to fax something or advertise, say in yellow pages? How good do photos look when they're faxed?...

Photographic images are usually only the preserve of large corporations whos reproduction budgets are vast and can afford to spend large amounts on achieving and maintaining visual consistency of the design across many different media.

Just a thought. :-)
