Don't care for the hands of wheat. I do like your wheat stalks.

easy shared hosting might look better at the bottom of your site name.

The black background next to your logo just does not look right like that. Maybe white?

For some reason, your domain name feels like it should be in some sort of a frame with a slogan by it. Something like www.omahasteaks.com would be my first though (mmmm... filet.) The way it is, you'd never sell me on logo design which I see you offer for $60. It's just text with a choppy looking drop-shadow. Wow me so I can buy a logo with confidence.

Weak design.

First think what people are looking for in hosting -- hustle free reliable service. Kinda like bread (if you must use that association), simple yet satisfying.

Go with the bolder, poster-like design, not a lousy quality, granulated jpg.

... and yes, drop the hands. The last I'd want to think that the server's somewhere in a barn administered by a farmer...

It's a fresh combination (hosting + wheat), you could have it quite uniquely positioned if you hire a professional designer.

A co-worker just glanced at the page when I pulled it up and asked, "Why is that lady vacuuming the help desk screen?"

I think the message that you're a good host is lost right now.

Good start and don't be discouraged!

Definitely lose the hands.

And the logo is too grainy, the font is unconvincing, and those poor little wheat stalks seemingly withering in an August drought...

Here's an idea -

A seemingly endless field of wheat, conveying prosperity...
The perfectly blue, cloudless sky...
Wheatland-Hosting.com in a clean sans serif font

If you build it, they will come...
