PremTech Web Design
Hi Folks
I was wondering if you had any comments on my new logo.
You can also see it on my draft website at:

Cheers

Re: PremTech Web Design
It looks low keyed. Which in a way is not bad. It says what you do.

Thanks
The whole idea behind this one was to keep it nice and simple...
I am looking to get my car signwritten with the logo on the side so I hade to keep it bold but readable as well...
Cheers
Warren

Are you going to have it painted, magnet, or sticker it?

We use...
We use stickers on the race truck we sponsor. On our own vehicles, it's magnets. This is much easier if we get a different vehicle, have one in the shop, or just want to go out for the evening without having to worry about answering questions about tools.
Magnets are usually about $35 for both doors when we get them. Stickers are cheaper, but magnets are much simpler.

Re: We use...
Like Brian said. This would basically be up to you on how you want to go. Each one has plus's and each one has minus's. What can you live with or live without?

Great logo!
Depending on local laws, license plates are another alternative for offline marketing of your logo.
In my state in the US, we only have license plates required on the back of our cars, which leaves the front of our cars wide open for a decorative license plate, or one for promos.
I'm getting a plastic license plate made with my business's logo -- having it printed locally from my graphic file costs $15. Very sturdy contruction with UV protection so it will never fade. A local trophy shop is the business that prints the plates.

It's easy to understand what you do from your logo. I'd suggest a little more white space between the letters in "WEBDESIGN".
Excellent tips on license plates for the front of your car. We found license plate frames for $10 that we put on our back plates. The frames are formatted with just the name of the business on top and our URL on the bottom in a nice thick Helvetica - we get lots of comments on them!

You might check out what your states law are in regards to license plate frames. In Texas they pasted a law that said you no longer can have this. It covered up parts of the license plate info is the reason they gave.

But in Texas, everything is bigger so the state probably put too much text around the border. Our plates must be made by someone who also sells frames on the side because nothing gets covered up.

Surprising the plates are blaaaa. Nothing special. They do use the whole plate. Right now I could get a special plate for just about anything here. Don't know if they have this in other states. Plates have to be register every year. Drivers licesne I think are you have to do every 15 years. Does not make sense.
