It looks pretty good to me! The colors are bright and bold, but not overwhelming. The design is simple and powerful without being bland or crowded. All in all, Great work!

I'd add though that it's extremely likely that the graphic element has been used before and posssibly even been trademarked by some other entity (because it's so generic and simple). You're unlikely to come to grief over it but it is possible.
