On our blog, we posted the difference, advantanges and disadvantages between the two common type of logos: LogoType and LogoIcon.

I wanted to know what you preferences is and why?

LogoType. I know what the company's all about then..or at least their name.

I don't know, I think you can get the same thing conveyed either way. There is really no question with either of these logos as to what this company does.
