Default DomainingBlog.com Logo

I just want to have the logo itself rated. I do not want the banners to be rated as they are most likely going to be changed. The logo is simply the smiley face that contains the initials db.

You can view it at www.DomainingBlog.com.

All feedback is appreciated.

Thank you!

Personally, I like the design.

Just a first glance observation, a brighter color scheme may reflect a more talkative community sort of feel. If you're shooting for a smiley face, maybe warp the mouth to give it an upwards arch, as now it's more of a gape than a smile -- don't get me wrong though, I think it's a good-looking concept.

Something that works in your favor is the letters "d" and "b" which are symmetrical shapes, and great to play with in a logo design.

Default make it smile

Hi! It looks fine and I would prefer if it is smiling. I think this type of image is widely used and maybe over-used.. There are ways to make it unique. Play more with the DB for example by detaching the semi cirle (use small letter db)and use only one vertical line. Goodluck!

Default It should smile

I agree - a smiling face would be cuter and more welcoming. I also think that it is tilted a little bit too much, but overall I really like it.

Cheers,
Andrew

Nice idea, i agree the face could look a little more happy. And mayb the logo be a bit smaller. I think i like the logo on the welcome button more it looks like it has more of a rounded edge.

Nice, clean, but if you didn't mention smiley face I'd be still wondering about those dots. I'd say dump them and better integrate db with that chip.
