Default Insurance Logo

Hi! I have a new logo...

Do I need to get fancier than this or more unique... or will this do the trick. It's designed by "yours truly".

So it may not be the most professional result ever...

It is nice and simple. Looks fairly professional and it lets you know some information about the site straight from the logo.

Nice work.

Default Friendly logo

Nice! It is friendly design.. If that is your aim.. then you have a successful design. Do you think you need to appear more professional? If yes.. then you should change the font. Overall it is good!

How did I miss this?

Most excellent design. If it's not too late I agree that the font is not professional. It's a great logo and overall layout.

People are scanners.. they really don't read much. So, your font's are going to make people blow off the detail and not read it all as small as it maybe.

Have a Great Week!

Can someone list some professional fonts out there?

...after I put this on my site, I realized that it needs to be a bit darker to match the pages better as well... so I'll be doing that...

Thanks for the positive comments!

I don't think that's what is needed. Just use Tahoma? I think it's called cause it's easier to read.

It's the logo (art work) that get's the job done. No need to focus on making the font into art as well.

The iiinsurance is ok.. it's the words under that. The red ones.. =)

That's all really.

Arial black/bold may also be a consideration... still thinking about that one...

Default font

Tahoma, Verdana, Optima, Eurostyle or GillSan and other in the same family. Use same font for name and slogan/tagline and maybe the tagline in bold or italic.

I would un-italicize the name though.

Just curious, watcha using Matt -- Fireworks? Catchy shape design.

http://www.aaa-logo.com/

They have a free, fully functional trial... you just can't convert it into anything... After playing with it, the $50 price tag was a bargain. Very easy to use and flexible.

Well... I tried to take your advice and change the fonts... The only problem is the names you gave me for fonts above aren't to be found with this software. They have over 500 fonts to choose from and couldn't find any of 'em... :)

So I don't know... I tried to be more conservative and got rid of the italics...

I Darkened and played around with the effects as well to fit into the pages better...

Watcha thing? Do the two reds match? I've been looking at it to long to trust my eyes...
