looks like a K to me
it took a while for me to notice that it is a j and a k. the only thing that hinted to the j is the curve. I don't know how suttle you want the logo to be but I think it should pop out at the viewer and be embedded in the psyche so that if I were to see it on a piece of paper I would know that it is from JKomp.
I think you should try making the Jpart of it a darker color and make the k part a complimentary color. it seems kinda hard because you only use two colors and one of them is the background to the logo. I think you should play with the color combinations to make the jk elemets stand out or go with another font opposite the omp letters to make it stand out in another way while emphasizing the jk are blended together into one element.
