Staying Healthy the Natural Way

I'm trying to learn everything I can to do my own site, and needless to say there's a lot to learn. Anyway, would you please look at mine and tell me how to make it better? I really would appreciate it.

The site this is on is www.naturalyhealthy.com in case you want to see how it looks with the rest of the page.

This site is to help people learn about the benefits of natural vitamins and minerals and how they can and should be processed. I'm trying to let people know that just because they are taking a vitamin and mineral supplement doesn't mean that it's being absorbed into the body like it should.

DESIGN

Opening Page
The name of the site is Naturaly Healthy when entering the site the header at the top is on topic but could use a little work. Maybe change the header around so we have a mom playing with some young toodlers.

The other problem I see right off is the colors. We have a bit too much blue or is that green?

All the pages keep the same look which is great.

Logo
The logo is a very important part of any business. It tells the visitor that we take bride in our business and also should tell something about our business. It is also a great tool in branding any business. If you could come up with a logo I think it would help a lot.

Font
You used the same font on every page and it is clean and easy to read.

Neatly Laid Out
The site is laid out very nice. It is clean and easy to find what topic you want to read about.

This is mainly a content site and it has been done very well.

Contact Information
Contact information is at the bottom of every page and that is great. It would be easy for anyone to get in touch with your business.

CONTENT

The content looks good to me
I´m know writter but do read a lot and I think the content is laid out nicely and reads good.

NAVIGATION

Easy Navigation
The site is easy to navigate. No scrolling vertically or horizontally.

Well Linked
The site as been well thought out. The links are placed and easy to find and there is a lot of information on the site.

SUMMARY

The text and layout of the site looks really nice. The problem I see is in the design. You may want to play with the colors a little and maybe come up with a different header and logo.

That's okay, I had asked for a site review as well. So I appreciate everything you said. I'll start on what you suggested.

As far as the logo, I'm still working on that. I love the idea you came up with and will see what I can find. Wonderful idea! and would probably go with the idea I'm trying to get across a lot more than the logo I have now.

The word "healthy" is spelled wrong ("heatlhy"). The font you're using is very outdated - try something more fresh and trendy since it's about good health.

I'm not sure the image of the boy and sailboat helps to convey what you do. Adults hiking in nature perhaps or doing something active since they're healthy?

It still bothers me that the name "naturally" is spelled "naturaly" in your domain name...it looks like a spelling mistake and not something creative. Also, in the header of your home page, "nutritional" is incorrect - NUTRTIONAL.

Some people (like me) have a hard time finding credibility in a new online company who doesn't use proper spelling...

I have to agreed 100% with Marcie. Even a long domain like www.StayHealthyNaturally.com would be better than one that does not use the correct spelling - call it creativity, poetic license, whatever, for me it just doesn't work.

Looks good. Once you the spelling error done it should be ok.
