On your website, even though the logo is much smaller physically (maybe a fifth the size) it is still the same number of bytes - and at nearly 120kb I'd say it is too big.

Also, the compression used by your graphics package has its glitches emphasised by doing it the way you have - see how that textured surface jumps and flickers as the frames play?

If you designed it (or resized it in your animation package) to the right dimensions it would be smaller. You'd also reduce those glitches somewhat.

Did you use Cool 3D to design this?

Have you considered using Flash instead? That would be much smoother.

THank you for being hinest with me. I really enjoy the honest replys that webpro world has given me. I used Auto Cad Mechanical desktop 2004Dx/Inventor 8.0 to solid model model the lettering. I can export to bitmap from there and then converted to jpeg and assembledd it fram by frame with Jacs animation shop. I will try to get rid of the shifting colors and make this a smaller file. I know that a smaller file will help my website load faster. Thanx

A-ha. JPEGS.

You don't need to use JPEG images at all in a design like this. I guess that is what causes that flicker as the animation plays.

Use GIFs.

That sounds like a good place to start. Pardon my spelling, without spellcheck I'm dead in the water.
I will bump this to number 20 on my list of 100 things I gotta do today.
