Default Just Curious...

I'm not the creator, but am the keeper, of our company logo. I'm curious how Bill, et al, rates it (the logo that is).

Some background: CosmoCom is the Leading Provider of IP Contact Center Technoloy. What that means is that we have developed a universal-access contact center platform that allows all types of communication (phone, live chat, e-mail, fax, etc.) to be routed to appropriate individuals in a contact center using a single application that can integrate with CRM applications, etc.

We have been using the logo variations below since around 2000. We use the tagline version in most cases, but the generic version is for when the logo size does not allow the tagline to be legible or for international use. For dark bagkgrounds we usually place a photoshop "outer glow" to make it look like it is in a nebula or cloud (like in our web masthead at http://www.cosmocom.com). Also have a solid variation of the swirl for embroidery/silk screening needs, etc.

Tagline:

Generic:

Thanks. I appreciate the feedback.

Just seems to me that the ethereal effect of a swirling cosmos is made clunky by the thickness and density of the purple (lavender) area of the swirl beneath the CO of Cosmos. It drags the whole thing down and destroys the balance.

Hey, changing any aspect of an existing logo is a really big deal, especially if you've got it plastered all over the side of a building, so the opinions of such as me virtually worthless.

Hello! I will use the CosmoCom without the swirling effect or have it somewhere else. - Wizz keeper of the seven keys?

I like the logo. I think the swirl does give the logo some balance.
