Please consider my logo for review

This logo has been in use since 2000 and I'm thinking of redesigning it.

It has been seen in many ads/promo's but for the most part, if I'm asked to put a logo, comment, or something to identify my company (for my print clients) I usually just go with a text link.

Well - i think it would look ok at a decent resolution but really i found it quite difficult to read.

I don't think a complete re-design is needed, maybe just try and highlight the red text over the black shadow.

It definitely needs enhancing to be viewed at a smaller size.

Logo was hard to read. Don't know what you can do to help this out.
