The logo needs to tell something about your business.

The logo you have now is neat and different but I would have never thought of it being for a dating type site.

Suggestions:

- very smooth, clean and modern
- nice design!
- I'd agree with janeth though. If i saw this logo i'd think it was representing a software company, or some sort of web design company.
- A dating site meets up two people, so perhaps you can use two people as the basis of your logo

And if you think yours is irrelevant, look at mine! i'm selling bags and briefcases and yet my logo looks like a cat and chess piece rolled into one. I designed it myself and it doesn't really mean anything - but it looks cute so who cares! :-D

First thought was your selling pills of some type.

Janet has said it all.

I disagree strongly with the notion that a logo has to tell something about your business. Does the Ford logo say anything about the fact it's a car manufacturer? Do the McDonalds' arches suggest they sell fast food? No!

However, having said the above, it's a good plan to have an associated image when just starting out - otherwise your marketing and branding efforts will be so much harder.

Once your company/business is very well established, you can then maybe afford to drop associated imagery.

:)

Might I suggest maybe dropping a backing of the main logo with a Heart set off center havit the main logo part merging with the heart from the right .. or better have 2 hearts touching with the current main logo centered in where they touch with a thin white bordering around the current logo..

Just throwing ideas around for you..

I think those images would intell an image or relationships and love..

Just my 2 cents..
