Default Residency Guide - Logo

We feel that the logo is very important to any Company and it needs to describe the business as clearly as possible.

Residency Guide is in the Residential Relocational business. We have been using the following logo for about a year now.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I keep noticing the read count for your post go up, but nobody has ventured a commend. It's sheer speculation, of course, but I'm wondering if it's because those of us who've hung around here for the last six months have seen so many logos that use some variation on the "silhouetted, line-drawing house" theme in conjunction with their company name. It's nearly as overused as images of our little planet. It seems that they all blend into one -- no matter how much effort is put into making them distinctive.

A roof with a chimney -- we all recognize it as a symbol of a house. But if I were in your business I'd rack my brain to come up with something that symbolized home -- something warmer and more inviting than a cold, stark exterior. I don't know what that might be -- I'm not in your field. Maybe bring the viewer inside and sit them down before a glowing fire in the fireplace. Hell, I don't know.

Thanks Tikanet for your comments. I totally understand and agree with your comments.

We wanted to make our logo very simple - without any pictures and without lot of colors. So we came up with this Logo with Line House and Name (after some hard thinking).

We will go back to the drawing board and think about it again. Any suggestions for the logo would be very appreciated.
