I like the relationship between the flower and the gear. A couple of things your company name gets lost at the bottom of the initials. I'm not a big fan of the script type text. But over all I think you've got a good foundation.

Suggestions:

- Fancy writing doesn't make sense with the more blocky writing.

- Best to get rid of this and just have the blocky writing on it's own. Could try and clean it up a bit (could probably say the same for my logo too!). Just open up your favourite image editor and zoom in and smooth them outlines.

Default Remove the script

It will be too difficult to read if you shrink it, and will not really necessary once your brand gains recognition (do you need subtext for NBC or IBM?).

I would clean up the edges on the gear. Actually, to be honest, I think you should drop the gear, the script text, and just leave the GDF.

Now that would be a cool logo.

Cheers,
Andrew

I agree with andrew except maybe keep the gear and loose the rounded flowery bit. Use that blocky large GDF with a nice blocky gear. If you wanted to be really clever, why not make the gear the G?

You cant read that black script text and it really doesnt fit with the rest of the logo.

I like gear/sun. Keep that, it's fresh. GDF is a waste of real estate in that logo. Spell the name if you must, but change the font. Neither one really works here.
