It is my impression that the three alpha characters do not fit quite right in the irregular rectangle. They appear too small. Perhaps if the rectangle was rotated ninety degrees to the right the characters would seem to better fill the space. Thickening the characters might also help.

When I first saw it, something struck me as being out of balance -- truly more off-angle than the rectangle itself. Maybe it's because the proportions don't conform with the magic number (1.618). Even with a figure as much askew as your rectangle, the rule can be applied. Then again, it might be that the height and width of the alpha characters that disturbs the overall balance. The more I look at it, the more unsure I am about the reason why it disturbs the cosmic equilibrium :)

Well, anyway, I took the liberty to include the image with this post to make it easier for others who might wish to review it.

Hi -

Thanks for links, checked your logo - personally I think it may be worth experimenting with the orange around the blue - possibly darker orange would be nice.

Also - if the rectangle is skewed, as it is, maybe the CST text would look more natural if skewed off to match the blue/orange rectangle.

Oh, forgot to say, maybe it's worth having the words 'Custom Software Development' (or the words you feel most capture what your business offers) just underneath your logo.

The letters CST in the blue/orange might not necessarily convey all you would like to about your company.

I'd say it's almost there. There are some tweaks to make, but probably not many. I think the blue color and the shape reminds me of a chalk board at first, but it's not unattractive.

What I'd like to know is how it relates to what you do. It can be abstract like this, which is fine. It's just that what you do is so cutting edge and technical, your logo should be too.

Logos that come to mind are AT&T, Orange, and the old CA logo.
