my sister has started a her own hairdressing shop and ask me to do a logo for her.

i kept the design simple and clean

Personally, I don't like the combination of fonts - one seems retro and the other is grunge. The logo could use some kind of graphical interest as well.

I'd have to agree with Marcie on the fonts, the combination just isn't the right one.

Try adding a stylized pair of scissors into the mix for a clean effect that still delivers the message "Haircut"

I would have to agree with marcie. The fonts dont really go together that well and it needs some kind of graphic to make it look better.

it would be quite good if maybe haircuts by was to the left, in black, and much less interesting, as if signing a letter off,

as if writing a signature I think your combination of styles could work, I'd say have a picture, or redo the colours to suit the rest of the website.

The feeling I get when I look at it is kind of like an alternative, punky image. I picture spiky haircuts, bold hair colors, multiple face piercings, haircuts for age 30 and under, lots of hair wax . . .

Is this the type of impression you wanted?
