Default Ballroom Dancing Shoe Logo

Here are 4 concepts that I have for the logo of my existing store http://www.ballroomdancingshoe.com. What I like to convey with the logo is the elegance, beauty and sensuality of Ballroom Dancing.

Please feel free to mix and match between the different designs to get the near perfect image or different fonts and colors etc and please be very especific and kindly use the names to the left of the Images.

Thank you in advance for your help and constructive reviews

LOGO-1

LOGO-2

LOGO-3

LOGO-4

Kind regards,
Ricky

Your tagline doesn't make much sense to me... The one on logo2 makes the most sense though, since it is separated.

You may want to leave the tagline out altogether if you are going to be using the logo on anything other than your web site.

Overall I like number 2 the best as far as the tagline goes, as well as the choice of font and the whole layout. I would replace picture of the woman with a picture of the couple though. When I think of ballroom dancing I think of "couples" not a person by themself dancing.

I like logo 3 the best. I think it conveys the elegance of ball room dancing much better than 2 or 4, which seem to be single dances (4 looks jazz dancer to me).

I think you're tag line is an attempt to be a little funny. It would make more sense if it said:

We always sell you the right shoe. (The left one is free.)

I think 3 could be improved by smoothing the hem of her dress (I don't think feathers/fur hems when I think ballroom). I think using a different font, could improve the logo, the current font is a bit difficult to read. Perhaps, from #1 or #4?

I'd also tone down the bright red or change the site colors, the cyan really does not compliment your current color choices.

You may also want to try an incarnation with just shoes or a dancing couples feet and see how that looks, so that they can readily identify your product.

HTH,

Diana

I like the graphic on Logo 1; I think the tagline is great and the tagline/lettering on Logo 2 is the easiest to read.

Considering combining the two and then place the results here so we can review again.

Here is the explanation of the tag line.

When I was getting the domain name I was going to get ballroomdancingshoes.com but i was call away from my computer and when I came back some already pruchased that domain. So I got ballroomdancingshoe.com singular.

So went I told my 17 year old smart a** son about the domain name been singular asked me If i was only going to sale one shoe to people and with out loosing a beat I said Yes "I will sell the rigth shoe and the left one is free" he said it was dumb but stay in his head.

I think I will change the line to say "We will always sell you the right shoe... and the left one is free"

Thank you for all your comments and I will post the final logo very soon.

Diana,
Once I get the logo finalize I will redesign the site completely around the logo. That means picking new colors fo the site that will complement the logo so I can have the elegance, beauty, sophistication and sensuallity of ballroom dancing.
Kind regards,
Ricky

Default Ok here we go...

I like the designs, but I will have to go with design 3. Here is what I think you should do:
•Use the people from design 3
•Don't use red. Not for this logo. Try a Navy Blue. It's more Classy
•Take out the tag line all together. If the customer doesn't get it right away then you'll loose them. You want it to be short and sweet, for instance: "Buy the right shoe and the left one's free!". But, I still think you should take it out. Instead give a discription of your services, example: ballroom shoes and rentals...or something.
•Use a strong font for the main "Ballroom" and maybe a script for the "dancing shoe" or vice versa.
• And last, if you have a grey font in the picture and on the text, make sure they are both connected and sent to the back. If that makes any since. If your using Illustrator you'll know what I'm talking about.
Good luck.

My favorite image is from logo #3, but I prefer the font from #2.

Regarding the tag line -- I understood it, though I can understand why a lot of people might not. Definitely add in an ellipses or a comma to break the thought apart. I wouldn't put that slogan in the logo -- you can fit it in on your site or on other materials (business cards, letterhead, etc.) easily. But IMHO the logo should be just the image and the name, so if you should in the future come up with a different slogan it's more easily changed.

Are the designs clipart? If so, you'll never own copyright on your logo. You could even end up in a bit of legal hot water!

:)

The logos were design by a company that creates logos and they do not use clipart at all that is one of their seling points and that is why I hired them to create the logo. The final logo is in the process of been trade mark.

Thank you for all your help and advise.

Below you will find the final logo that I will be using to re-design my online store to complemente the logo.

I like the final logo, but still some seperation in your tagline would make it more understandable.

Default I like the final one

Thanks for letting us brainstorm with you. It's nice to see the draft ideas transform into the final design.

Cheers,
Andrew

Use the top logo (image only), bottom design's logo type for the name. Put name in one line in red. Put your tagline below in black.

It's a pity the tag's so long but i can't seem to be able to trim it down.
