Default RECA - Logo Text

I am currently working on a new site design for this organization, and I am looking for suggestions on whether the text can be implemented in a more attractive manner.

The colors are set, as is the graphical portion of the logo, however there may be some flexibility in the text portion.

I appreciate any comments.

The visual looks very professional. I have a few recommendations for the text.

1) Make sure all edges line up in some manner

2) Never start a line with 'of' or 'and' - unless it is in the middle of three lines or in a less prominent display.
3)You have 3 fonts - One too many for such a small display of text. If you need variation bold or do another variation of the same typeface.

4) There is no word hierarchy. Real Estate is first, Council is bold, and 'of Alberta' is a decorative font - basically giving them all equal importance. Visually and logically contrast is much better.

5) Consider a color tie-in so the words don't float seperately from the visual. Consider Real Estate in Purple, council in gold. If you end up with small fonts keep them black.

Take Care,

Grease

Thank you for your comments, grease.

They are totally inline with what I had been thinking, and I hope my post here will gather several suggestions that will lead to overall improvement.

I am continuing to struggle with an improved text layout. I have tried to use a consistent font and the purple and gold in the text and end up with a candy cane look.

I have also tried to move the "of" portion of the text and have had no success, other than leaving it all on one line, which limits the flexibility of use in the desired print media.

The site needs to maintain a very professional look, and so I have found myself limited in my choice of font.

If possible, I would appreciate any examples that anyone cares to share.

Thanks in advance for assistance you can provide.
