Default Woods Shop Creative Builders

You can see my logo at the top of my web pages. What do ya think ? www.woodsshop.com/

I've used it for many years now on my business cards etc, but there's still something missing.

Anyone have any Creative Ideas for improving it ?

It's quite a nice logo in itself...browns are difficult to get right.

Does it include the decorations to each side?

Definately needs a little 'something' graphical! :)

Yep, it's my business name, and those sunburst brackets to each side.(I used to do alot of Traditional Restoration work on Victorian and Craftsman style homes).

I was thinking some sort of border around the whole thing might be all it really needs. Maybe fill in those brackets with a gradient or something.

Got any good ideas for me??

So, would anyone have any nice, creative ideas for my logo, at least for a nice border ?

Well.....I can only think of one little thing off-hand. If I were you, I would keep the Creative Builders all in the same font (the same less bolded font as "reative builder". Have you thought about making the logo look embedded, such as carved into wood? Might be a nice effect for you without complicating the logo too much.

I like your site but please please get rid of the blue borders on your linked images. Add
Code:
img {
  border: 0px;
}
just before .borderblk { to your stylesheet.

As to a logo how about a wooden plaque with a gold screwhead on either side of text that looks like it has been burned/carved into the wood?

I've uploaded a little example here I'm not too hot with paint shop but you'll get the idea.
