How does my logo look?



I have just started this site recently, and am still collecting/building the data for it. I've already got a design layout inplace, but just working on which data to fit where. Therefore, it's a little messy right now.

I'm not sure where your site is heading. At the moment, it just seems to be a collection of ads but I guess that's just temporary.

The logo looks too, how can I put it, 'childlike'...it needs a 'professional touch' if visitors will take it seriously. :)

Which part do you not like, the font face, or the icon?

Originally my friend was gonna illustrate me a real clock face, but its just taking a bit of time, as she's real busy.

My site was trying to target the younger/student, more internet active audience, who are kind of shopaholics, that the high streets are simply not enough. Those that are into beauty, fashion, and the latest technology gadgets.

What advice/direction can you point me to if any?

I'm going to have to agree with Mark and his comments. It is a little child-like.

If you are targeting college students / highschool students.... maybe a figure with a backpack on running out of a clock... or maybe running off of the minute hand.

I'd like to see what you come up with. Hope this helps a little. Good luck.

It would be difficult to gain any credibility with that logo unless you were selling toys. I apologize for my bluntness, but I am trying to help you out. If you would like to stick with the clock, you may want to consider a unique angle or another time metaphor. The standard clock face is becoming 'cliche' and may not have much impact on your target audience.
