Definetly worth hearing some constructive critics

I m not here to criticise on your logos, but would definately love to suggest. (suggestion is different from criticism).

Definately in my opinion the second logo is far better that the first one, when taken the whole site in mind. But one thing to say that try out some more color combination, no doubt this is one good but not competing with the whole theme. Try avoiding the light blue shade, and try some different and a bit lighter shade. The lighter shade will definately be in contrast and secondly will highlight the logo.

Good Luck!

Thanks for your post Clasione. Your logo is crisp and clear, and well-balanced. Your layout is solid but I would consider drafting a few more unique concepts.

Generally speaking, filters/effects take more away from the effectiveness of a logo than they add. I think the first logo is much more effective.

I would seriously reconsider the 'swoosh'. This trend is on its last legs and will soon collapse. While it may have worked wonders for NIKE, subtle variations of the infamous swoosh will do little to distinguish your brand from the abundance of similar logos out there. I highly recommend visiting this site before you decide on this logo:

Re-examine your branding strategy, your competitors, and your target audience and try to develop a logo that plays on your unique strengths.

I hope this helps. I would be pleased to offer additional advice for future variations

Funny that you say that - cause recently I removed the swoosh... but recreated it.... There just wasn't enough design in the logo....

Thanks for the advise....... I'm just not finished with this logo yet - I guess....

That wasa a really good link yo posted 50cups..... Thanks I enjoyed the info....

Swooshes don't bother me BUT ONLY IF they are used in a unique and meaningful way. I think that saying never use a swoosh is a bit like saying never use a circle. What is a "swoosh" but a curved line with some character. I would personally never limit my design options in that way.

UNFORTUNATELY your logo does not seem to use the swoosh in any unique, compelling, meaningful or thought provoking way (unless I'm missing something). If there is some very appropriate and compelling way to use it then USE IT. But whatever you do - don't use the color blue -- everyone is using that color and it's a trend that I'm sure will soon collapse ;-)

Greases advise about multiple concepts is very sound -- I usually do dozens of pencil sketches before I ever touch the computer when doing a logo.
