hello, i would appreciate any feedback on my companies logo, we have used it for a few years now but are about to have new stationary printed and are having the vehicles rewritten so it seems like a good time to update it.

Well, I like it eccept that with the shine effect (from the embossing) it evokes plastic more than wood.

I have to agree with designhead, it definately has a more plastic look than wood. I also find the green questionable as your base colour, its more closely associated with plantation or recycled when associated with wood products. I would have opted for more the woodgrain look and in maybe more rich wood like colours.
