Default Flame Design

Simple and clear. Perhaps a bit 'spooky'?
What do you think?

Is that good or bad? LOL I have it this way, and actually had 3 other ideas and sent it around to my contacts and this one was voted the favorite. I did a little bit of research on Camaro Club sites and car clubs in gerneral and black seemed to be the most-used background color. I, therefore used it too and chose the red with a ghostly glow in order to make it look like the logo was "glowing". It's also somewhat of a brand I'm hoping is complex enough, yet simple enough to stay in peoples' heads. Incidentally, I'm also considering making state-wide Camaro Clubs in addition to, or maybe instead of...

Default Good Logo

I like the design, but it doesn't convey what the company is about (of course, I think my logo is guilty of the same) ;)

Can you add an image (ghosted or otherwise) of a camaro in there? I think I stylized outline of a camaro would be cool, maybe with a perspective outline?

I think you should write your company name in the logo. It is hard for me to image what your company is about.

Stace and baggi: Thank you both for your input. I will definitely take it to heart. Just to explain my original intentions a little further, what I was trying to do is get an image out there, a "brand" if you will. I also wanted something that would convey the state it was located in. The fact that you can't tell what the business is from the logo is partly my strategy....to attract the curious. All they'd know is it has something to do with Texas and has 3 Cs. What concerns me about using a small camaro silhouette, which was my initial idea, is that, when sized down, would be hard to make out. I also considered making the center be a star, but I thought that was a little too generic and somewhat overused. Knowing this, do you have anything else to add? I'm very thankful for your input and look forward to more.
