Default Logo review needed desperately

I am not sure if my logo is clear enough or seems a little stretched I have saved it in .png form is this why it is taking so long to load, does it have enough impact, does it give the right professional look. Have a look and see what you think it is a antique/collectibles business.

Well, to put it nicely, It's horrible (sorry). Yes, it is too stretched out. It's also too pixelated, too busy and very hard to read. I can't tell what the picture is supposed to be. It'a almost always a bad idea to use a photo in a logo. And also bad to put your company name over a busy image.

I would start over. Think simple, clean, clear, interesting, professional.
Sometimes just the right font with the right color written the righht way is the best way to go. Toyoto's logo, for instance is just a typeface in a certain red with nice spacing. You might put a drawn oval around your name for instance to just symbolize a plate...think about the feel that you want for your company--old? Artsy? Elegant? and choose your font and color(s) accordingly.
