Well. the logo itself is good, but as has been said in this forum so many times "get rid of the shadow effect". It is blurring and cheapening your image. I would also get rid of the points on the bottom of the mountain--too sharp--they look scary.
The type font is not good. Choose something more readable and drop the "special" effects--you already have a good visual with the symbol you have created. The busy type just detracts from this.
I would also suggest (please!) that you turn off the shadow effect from all the type on your web page. It's especially a bad idea to use it on so much text!

Default Colors

I agree with designhead. The shadow is too much. You may want to try playing with variations without the beveled looks also. Think of using lighter colors... When I think of mountains I think of Icy-blues.

Here are some samples of what I mean.

The graphic concept of the logo precisely expresses your name. The power of your name is translated to a memorable image with ease and fluidity. It's only a thought, but a slight intimation of funnelling with the swirls might enhance the accuracy of the "hurricane" concept.

The simplified, direct representations that parallelworlds rendered exactly capture what a logo should be. The first two would look as good on a business card as they would adorning a website.

I have to agree with designhead, too. The continuation lines of the mountain beneath the swirl are more distracting than anything else. We can clearly glean the mountain in the tempest without them.

Default Twist

I really like tikanet's idea with the

funnelling with the swirls
so I thought I would put that in another conecpt design for you. I also thought that adding "snow" to the top of the mountain adds a nice touch.

Here goes.

Try to Make it Small and do not put the text on the link and make it clear.

Size is relative. As long as the design is simple enough you can enlarge or shrink to fit many media formats. Examples below.

Good, but what an opportunity to design this so much better! I would start by simplifying into the very essence of the name.
